How much Experience do we have?
Although, as mentioned above, we have been in
business for five years, our primary servers have a combined ten years of
experience in several aspects of the industry. Apart from process serving,
these would include skip tracing and background checks.
We are members of several industry focus
groups. This allows us to keep up with the changes in court rules as well as
keep with the evolving industry. As well we follow the guidelines set forth by Nationwide
PPS rules.
What is your serve success rate?
There are many factors that goes into a serve
success rate and each industry entity works that average differently. The major
issue would be a document that can be served and one that needs to be served.
The one that can be served has a good address and service could possibly
happen. The one that needs to be served are one that there is no chance of it
being served. To calculate our serve success rate, we include both types and
this is why we see our rate fluctuate between 70-90%.
What are your deadlines?
We understand that every client and document
are different. We adhere to the rules and advise our clients when there are
conflict with the rules. We customize each attempt based on our due diligence
completed prior to the first attempt and what we ascertain during attempts.
Generally, a document takes seven days to complete including the affidavit.
What are your service levels?
Our “Rush” Service will be first attempted
within 24 hours of receiving documentation. Should additional attempts be needed,
they will be every second day at various times depending on the information
accumulated with our due diligence.
Our “Standard” service will be first attempted
within 48 hours of receiving documentation. Should additional attempts be needed,
they will be every second day at various times depending on the information
accumulated with our due diligence.
Our “CT Corp” service will be attempted within
2 business days unless a rush. Very seldom do we need an additional attempt.
For more information on our services, check out
the services page.
When can I expect to receive my proof of
service?
We are proud to say that in most cases our
clients will receive an affidavit of service or due diligence within 24 hours. We
have a notary public onsite which allows for limited turnaround. The exception
to the rule would be if a client wishes to provide their own affidavit, that
will factor in the turnaround time, or we are waiting on instructions from the
client.
What are your charges?
There is a lot that goes into our pricing, different
areas have different prices, client’s wishes and each serve is different.
However, we pride ourselves on no up-sell, no hidden fees, what you see is or
what you are quoted will be what you will pay. See our full price list on the
services page and should you not see your circumstances, please feel free to
contact us.
How do you handle evasive parties?
All our serves receive the same treatment.
Prior to the first attempt, we perform a due diligence which gives us some
information to start with and in some cases, assists with evaders. Our first
attempt if no response, we take info like plates on vehicles, names on
mailboxes, note if lights are on, and leave a door hangar. The second attempt, we
will start talking to neighbors or leasing offices. We also note any changes
from the previous visit. The final attempt, we note any changes and again talk
to neighbors if no contact has been made. We have been known to change up the
server on the third attempt, to see if that assists. Should someone answer the door and say the
person doesn’t live there, we gain a description, a name and how long they have
lived there. If serve is not successful and we have gained pertinent
information, we will provide that to the client to determine if they like to act
on that information.
Tell me what sets you apart from other
process servers or companies?
Our slogan, “We go above and beyond the call
for our clients” would be the primary reason. You will have access to up-to-date
information on your serve (s). Statistics are great but success is sweet, and
we are overly competitive within reason.
